WHAT IS YOUR BEST RING FIND?

Here is a nice diamond ring that I sucked up with my Keene Coin/Jewelry dredge from a lake bottom at an, old, closed up swimming beach, here, in the midwest.
The old 1.10ct, "Europian" cut, diamond was in a 14k Masonic ring but, since I am not a Mason, I had a local jeweler melt it down and he molded me this ring to mount the diamond in, as I watched him. This ring more than paid for my dredge, although, I never sold it and have worn it, since.

JUST SOME OF MY FOUND DIAMOND RINGS I STILL HAVE
MISSING ARE ONES I SOLD IN THE PAST - ONES FOUND AND ON MY GILFRIENDS HANDS
ONES FOUND AND ON EX-WIVES HANDS

Posted these before, but for the new members who might not have seen them, here are my best three. The oldest is a Gold Roman Childs Ring..1st - 4th Century AD. The second one, and probably the best...Medieval Gold Stirrup Ring, 11th - 13th C..with a medium cabochon cut sapphire, I have since learnt that this sapphire could have only come from Kashmir on the Indian continent, as this was the only place they where mined during the 11th -13th Century, when the ring was made.

The last is a nice Gold ring over 100 years old..

I only hunt on sand once or twice a year.
I'm a Coin hunter not a Jewelry guy - but I still like finding Rings !

Hi My Fellow TH'er
Have you attempted to locate the owner so you could return the ring? I know that some do and some do not care but returning a lost ring makes good Karma. Just saying. I have returned a wedding ring and a class ring over the past 15 years and also a woman's purse in 1980. I have also returned a bracelet and many hand tools and a cat collar to some very thankful owners. Congrats on the ring find, but now it is time to do the right thing. ;-)

Found this Wedding ring she lost in the lake BEFORE she was married. Returned it just in time for her marriage the following saturday.

There are no inscriptions and the property owner said he didn’t know whose it could be either. It’s kind of scary to advertise it, because wolves come out very quick to take anything of value or antiquity. I did take channels researching previous owners of the property and no luck either. Wished it had a makers mark or inscription.
