I have a few total blank silver coins, sometimes counterstamped with various symbols.

Re: Let's see your best dug worn out coin!

I was just wondering, technically what would a coin's grade be if it is completely smooth on one side and barely identifiable on the other side? :tongue3: Fair? I don't think there is a grade lower than that. Any coin grading experts out there that would like to comment on this?

Here's another one. It's a nickel, I think a Liberty Head V nickel, but too slick to really tell.

Here is a 1697 William III sixpence I dug here in Pennsylvania. It looks like it was bent into a love token and holed, then later circulated as money again.

The style of Britannia and the spacing for everything in general. Once you look at enough for so long it clicks. It's as easy for me to tell the difference on those as it is for you to say whether a coin is a dime or nickel.

Re: Let's see your best dug worn out coin!

I like to see the worn coins in good condition also..That way you can see how worn your coin really is.
But im sure your right, you da man IP :notworthy:

Capped bust dime in all her glory. Thought it was a punch out of sheet metal and was bouncing around in the cup holder of my truck for a few weeks.
