Looks like a nice piece of Flintridge from Licking County, OH. I'm not familiar with Indiana material, it could be local. Flintridge has been found thousands of miles from its source.

Pelican Lake Colors-NEBRASKA

Although these Pelican Lake points were all found in south central Nebraska some of the materials are from distant lithic sources. Two of those sources are Alibates from the Texas panhandle and Knife River Flint from North Dakota.

Wow, that's a really great frame! I see the KRF point in the middle. The point above it isn't too shabby either.

Beautiful points. I found this one along the upper Arkansas River in Colorado that looks like its made of the same tan color material I see in a few of your collection. I found it when I was sampling with a pan in the river and as I was climbing up out of a steep embankment about half way up there it was laying there two feet from my eyes. It actually sparked more intrest in hunting for artifacts than messing around with the little amount of gold found along the Arkansas River. I could walk from where I lived and hunted all over that area. Found mostly broken pieces, but I sure spent many hours on nice days in the warm sunshine with the breeze blowing through the pines and pinon and sounds of the magpies with my Blue Healer named Lucky. Today I take drives along an old railroad grade road when I'm in the area and just sigh 😕 at all the folks rafting and camping in that area I once had pretty much all to myself. As for the places to pan gold, some members only gold prospecting enterprise went and filed claims along the banks. They take money from suckers now who will pay a lot to get less than a fifty cents worth of gold in the course of 3 days. This little group of retired guys where telling me all about how much they spent coming all the way from Ohio during a free breakfast at the Super 8 in Buena Vista, Colorado one morning I stayed there. One guy said he had a thousand bucks already on the trip and only pulled a few flakes out of dirt.

Not a field find, but a pretty beautiful piece of recreation, I picked up at a thrift store for less than 6 bucks. It commemorates the art of the stone age tool makers. I got it hanging on the wall of my office.
