Let Another Relic Smell The Air.......

I've been down with a bug since Sun. night.....Never really got out of bed! My work know's I'm out but today I started feeling a little better and got the real "bug".Hit the farm's where I do some relic hunting and found an Enfield Musket ramrod end....first thing I did was check it out on other site's and it was the real Mc'Coy,machined groove and all.......I've got some more pic's after these.....One and Only and probably will be till' the day I stop Enjoy and Thank's...

Now that is what I am talkin about Bud!!! Good job my friend, that is quite a KEEPER in my book and would be proudly displayed in my relic case with some of those good ole Antietam Minies Seriously, that is a rare relic to find now days and I am glad that you found it. Lots of hard work and man hours going into that relic....I know the feeling

You know, it looks in remarkably good shape. You should be able to seal it as is...It definitely doesn't need electrolysis! Good Job again, that is a true Civil War Relic to be proud of my friend!! I would've like to had been there to watch you dig that one HAHA I BET YOU WERE actin as if it was a plate.....There are SLIM PICKINS in many of our Civil War relic sites these days which makes this all the more enjoyable!
