lepidolite ?

A better picture sure would help...... but it does look similar to some Lepidolite I've seen (lilac-colored), but can be found as rose-colored or even yellow.
Since you have a lot of it..... maybe you can extract the lithium that is found in it... make a few $.

Lepidolite is very, very rare to find cabbed. Because it's so soft, it's hardly ever used in jewellery.
I doupt that's what you got. But a better pic would help.

Do a hardness test with a knife. Will the knife scratch it? If no - not lepidolite.
