I found a 3" X 1.5" X 3/8" thick piece today, "roughly" arrowhead shaped. It probably weighs 3-4 ounces. It won't bend like I'd think lead would. I'm 99% sure it IS lead, but want to be sure. It has the appearance of a stone, but a scraping with a knifeblade reveals a shiney silver color.

What's an easy way to determine lead or silver?

I think you just did. Its Lead.

However you can buy silver/gold testing kits for about $15 off ebay or internet.
