Lead Mulford name tag

I'm new to this I found this name plate that says Mulford in south Texas at a ranch behind a house that is over a 100 years old,I'm very new to this after my wife bought me a metal detector for Christmas I decided to adventure around a property a friend has approx. 35 miles north of Laredo Tx. found other things around there but this one is interesting and seems to be made of lead and has a small hole on the edge on the back.Let me know.
