I found this lead anchor with my Nox 900, I was doing the mudflats around an early 1600’s colony/fort area. I’ve found many musket balls that come out of the flats clean looking without the usual white patina from oxidation, so I’m trying to identify the age.

Neat find, I would think if it's made of lead, it's going to be old. Good luck on your research.

That’s awesome. I’d wear it.

It's beauiful! :hello2: I hope it's lead, if it's pewter it can start flaking apart.

Great find guy. Probably going to be tough finding info on it though...?
