LDM why you cant get it ! MAP #23 (Sleeping Lady)

I've been working on that some, nobodie.
Based on what I have so far, it seems there might be something worthwhile in what the map represents.

So you believe that the asterisks are the caches, then the 50 next to the stone might mean 50 veras from the stone.

I believe the asterisks are mines , with the one which is near the stone to be the cache mine .

I doubt that, since the words on the map are all in English.
The rock slab is about 50 yards upslope from the terraced area, so maybe that.
But there is also a large "5" slightly above the slab. If there was also a zero back when, it has become too faint to see.
So far as I know, the Sleeping Lady Treasure predates the Peralta to Waltz time frame, and is Piman in origin, which suggests something older.

I would like to see the original map , because I believe there are missed many clues on the new map .

Now Just above this is a what seems to be a Indian lady looking out over you.
The rock is clearly marked with a five. I thought it was Jesuits paying respects to the Native American's who mined
with them. (Just my thought's) I'll have to read on this never heard this Sleeping Lady Thing.

Here is a more complete pic

Complete with my much better Half.

Now sitting by the five is the wave stone on your map.
Follow the path to where the wife is standing, On the same plain as the wife by her feet there is a round stone with three holes in it, surrounding a square one. The There dots lead to markings on the stones,

The first dot is right in line with her walking pole, you can't miss it, the other two are in the brush to the left in line with the dots.

You will find the markings from the Priest stone, 8-N-P

So if the map predates the Peralta's, Then the Stone Maps should be called The Jesuit Maps.

Maybe you found the lost "lady looking out treasure" mick :dontknow:
But I haven't been looking for, as much as looking at. Not every treasure is a mine, and neither is every map one which leads to gold or silver mines out there.
All three "asterisks" are located on vertical rock faces, facing N/S/E in this case, so may have something to do with seasonal observations. Caches associated with them might contain items used for rituals associated with that, as well as digging sticks and pots of corn kernels or other seeds for next-year's planting......rather than what most others would consider "treasure" nowadays.

The map is obviously twentieth century vintage, but could be based on something older of course.
Not much point in trying to link it to the stone maps though, or to the Tumlinsons and Jesuits for that matter.

I never would have but I think the Stones linked them selves to it. With the markings on the field Stones, And the Native
American carved on the Stones above my wife's Head. I would post it but it would produce to much of the skyline, So it will have to wait, Same with the cave with the room and the Horse that marks it and a few other things.

Hope Not, Don't know a thing about that,
But I've been told I'm a carpenter, Painter and a Dollar Store Miner by some.
I wonder what I'll be next. Maybe a tool in the shed. Like, well you know!

I claim to be no more then I'am, A good man married 38 years in July, A Grandfather who teaches his Grandson unlimited possibilities awaits him, A father that took his children on many Adventures, A stone cutter a jewelry maker
and a man of Vision and the builder of the largest garden nome house in the Dakota's.

For my Grandson

Very nice treehouse mick. A cedar shake roof would look good on it.
When folks up here build something like that, local governments often force them to tear it down.
If they could tax it, they would be all for it.

You'd be better off to link it to Walter Perrine's Cave of Gold bars. Same place.

A familiar sight.
But there's a better one nearby.
