Wow what awesome weather to have here in late December. I've been MDing every chance I
get this month including Christmas day. Weather like this doesn't happen this often in late Dec..
Until yesterday I found wheaties and a few mems for the month. The day started out like most,
digging some scrap metals. This Barber was a complete surprise to me, it was one of those iffy
type signals with a sweet chirp ( just like alot of rusty nails ) in the backround, dug the plug and
scanned the hole, no signal, thought it must be a clump of rust that broke apart while digging the
plug so I reached into the hole and moved some dirt around and this beauty pops off the side
of the hole. This site has been good to me over the last two years, many silver and most of it
came out one at a time. Only had a 2 silver day one hunt here when DP bob pouched 2 also that
day. Saturday's weather should be good for a final hunt in 2011. HH DFW

Must be a real thrill to find a Barber. I'm still looking for my first. Nice job!

Found 3 this year and 2 did not ID as a quarter on my DFX.
Its those iffy signals that give you an awesome surprise once
in a while, because most of the time iffy is scrap metal.

That site will always produce.. Too much ground to cover
Sweet BBQ
