Late 1800's 1900's celler hole in CT
Went back without newbieDan from Ct, he's kinda busy these days with a new baby. This was and old farm house foundation that is totally imploded on itself. Which means coal, lots of old iron, shot gun hulls, copper wire, glass, nails and old farm equipment. The only good find was a brass/? cover to a watch or snuff jewlery top. You can barely see a horse and what seems to be a field raker or a water wheel to a mill..The other jpegs are a stove top and ole winch system with locking gear. And a mystery piece of iron. Now I know there have mders who hit same spot with pieces of pottery neatly place on stone wall and worst it was dry for old coins. , I also found trash pit along the wall. Clam shells to pieces of copper and shards of glass. Enjoy pictures and still had great time with dew point low 60-50ish.
P.S. Bears stuff all over the place too...
