...an interesting old toy tractor set. Made in England by Mamod. The pieces are fairly large (that is an average sized screwdriver in the foreground). Based on the listing I've seen on ebay, I think this tractor should have a roof on it. There are quite a few tractors listed on ebay but very few trailers. I paid $60 for the set. I think I can get at least $150 for it.

I don't usually buy furniture but I LOVE these chairs. I got them at the same place the tractor set came from. Paid $10 each for them. They are in excellent condition and very solidly made with welded aluminum frames. If I can find a place to put them in my house I will keep them. Failing that, I'll probably put them on CL and ask $50 each for them.

I also picked up the Ridgid shop vac for $30. I have a nearly new shop vac but it is about 1/3 the size and power of this one. I'm going to sell the small one and keep this one.

I also got a couple of minor upgrades to my kitchen tools (sorry, no pics) which included a set of high quality stainless measuring cups ($2) and a marble rolling pin ($5).

Tractors are very cool lookin.

Those chairs . . . they look like the love child of Eames Era and the Atomic Age. Is there any indication of who made them?

I thought "Eames" when I first saw them. However, I'm quite sure they are much newer than that because, on the bottom, there is one of those warning labels that everything seems to have these days. So I'm quite sure they are of recent manufacture but I haven't found anything that indicates who made them.
