Found a bank that apparently keeps rolls of halves all the time. I got 12 yellow, machine wrapped rolls - all skunks. Then I tried a small local bank and got $7.50 in loose halves - produced 7 40% Kens!
Went to a coin show this weekend and sold some 40% halves with intentions of buying silver bullion. Dealer offered 4.7 times face!
Everyone else was offering 4 times face max. Very little bullion to be had at the show, but I did see a guard bring in a dolly loaded with canvas coin bags. The tags I could see read 40% halves. Don't know if they were all 40% or not.
