Last try on Fav Field............

Cru'dad went solo for two lengths of the field before dark. This will be the last time on this field. I was running late from work & cycled down & helped him with the last few digs. We have marked off either end of the field & will finish the last 2 acres after harvest.

Only item of note was a blank silver coin with a 'gloved hand' (maybe?) countermark.

We are booked in with the farmer tomorrow to show all. As I found the Gold Celtic on his land I will try & even the score by giving up most of the Roman Silver & Medieval Hammered coins to his collection. (might still mean Dad gets his cheque book out )

no! no! no! you can't give away all your roman silver and hammered coins
tell the farmer to get his own metal detector if he wants coins, and as it was your dad who found the coin tell him to get the check book out! thats what dads are for

I look after it unless I die early & then they are return to Dad along with all my finds.
