last saturday's finds...

hit a spot in south jersey last saturday that i havent been to since may. sure glad i did cause it paid off well.

turtle head pendant

small bowl

small 3/4 groved axe

couple small points

i also found a bunch of quartz scrapers, flakes, and pottery pieces.

thanks. it's heat treated glacial till jasper from central pa. i have quite a few points made from it.

A real breath of fresh....never seen turtle head pendant like that before, and the flint has a killer look to it. May be a little fire even. Real "purty".

WTG! That pendant is especially desireable. The two-tone red/brown and gray poin liiks like a mixture of jasper and chalcedony - never seen one like that before. The colors on the red/brown point are amazing, and that notched celt is a keeper for sure.

You sure had a good hunt!
