Had a very short timeframe to hunt this afternoon taking into consideration the tides and my inlaws coming to visit. I only had about 45 minutes but I only needed 10 minutes to make it a decent hunt! I've hunted this particular beach a lot and it is across the river from where I previously found 7 cannonballs...but this is the first one I've found on this beach! This one was pretty deep and has laid within this salt beach for a few hundred years but I'll be able to make it display worthy after a soak in fresh water for a couple years...lol. It's a 12 pounder!
