Hit a few different old sites before the end of the year.
Now we have 4"-5" snow on the ground and it's down to 15 degrees at night.

1881 - Indian Cent
1987 - 10 Centovos Coin From Nicaragua (3rd. photo is of a non-dug version).
(8) - Wheat Cents - (1917 to 1946).
Ring - Gold Plated Silver with large Fake Diamond (stamped .825 - NOT .925).
Needless to say ... seeing this Ring in the hole for the first time was a real heart stopper !

Good Hunting !

825 is usually on gold items and means 82.5% pure gold. It's hard to see any detail in the picture, but I think you've got a winner!
Thanks for the info. "oldmxrat" - I'll take the Ring to a Jeweler and see what they say.

After detail cleaning the Ring it is stamped .925 - not .825 as I originally posted.
So what it ended up being is a Gold Plated Sterling Silver Ring with a Large Artificial Diamond.
Still a nice looking Ring.
