Got out this morning for a 2 hour hunt to a park that I haven't been to yet.
Took my backup detector, White's IDX and the shooter coil, and hit the tot area first. Didn't know how the area residents would react , but I really don't think they would bother a crazy old white guy flipping a Lesche digger in his hands!!!!!! :P :P

Found a few Zincoln cents and a clad quarter and then got the Full House Twins button. ( Mary-Kay and Ashley)

After a dozen or so pulltabs and bottlecaps, I head over to the ballfield area to see how many pulltabs I can actually dig. :P

A clad quarter, clad dime and a few more Zincolns and bottlecaps later I pull a 1935D Merc out of the dirt field.
As Gomer Pyle used to say.. "Su-prise.....Su-prise!!!!"
Working toward the backstop I get another clad dime and couple of nickels.
More bottlecaps, pulltabs and Zincolns later, I decide to work back to my car. On the way back I get another nickle/pulltab signal and tell myself " This is the LAST pulltab I'M digging today!!" :(

When I saw the golden color, I fell over.....literally....... I was on my hands and knees digging this one out!!
Not a bad day, with a silver Merc and a nice looking ring.

That is a beautiful ring. It's also a fantastic pic... the color is real nice. Just out of curiosity, did you use a light box or just took it against a white background?

No light box, I used the macro setting and red eye flash setting on my Kodak camera and put the ring in one of those white cotton terry towels you buy, that come in a 24 pak bag, and folded the ring in the towel so where it showed at an angle. A photographer friend of mine told me to try different color towels to take photos of small objects, where you need a solid color background and the area is fairly small.
