The reed has a "C" on it also. Bruce (DR. Ace) found one at the same site the night before and his is larger so I would guess his would have a different letter(Note) on it. His is about 1/2" longer than mine. I am guessing there are more where these were found. I also found a Harmonica reed not pictured. What type of instrument did these come out of?

Thanks and HH,

Dave

looks like you had a great day of detecting
with all of those good looking finds !!!!

Thanks for the reply,

I've got a blister on each palm of my hands from my digger, So I would say it was a great day. I even had gloves on. I probably dug over 700 holes and my knees were killing me. I should have not worn shorts? Another lesson learned at this new hobby today. I don't hardly have any skin left on my knees either.

HH,

Dave

Congrats on a great hunt. The 1/2 is beautiful.

Nice collection of finds...I wonder when that "large cent" was made?

Nice finds, I've got some of those coaster sized coin copies. In fact the 1909-s is right here beside my computer with a soda sitting on top. I think I bought them at Cracker Barrel years ago.

Nice assortment of finds ... when you find a big penny, you really find a big penny ... congratz on the good looking digs and best of luck on your next day out!

I love your attitude. Happy hunting them tabs
