Large picture frame

I was wondering if this is antique or just made to look that way. If it's worth anything or if I should set it up by the trash. It's about 5 foot long maybe three to half foot tall.

















I don't expect the painting to be worth a much. But I just wondering if the frame is worth anything if anyone knows anything about them?

That is not to say it worthless, especially to someone in need of a frame...
