Detector(s) used
Started with a Minelab xterra 505. Then Equinox 600 with stock coil, xl coil and sinper coil depending on circumstances. Now use a manticore.
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
This was not one hunt but rather weekend hunts at the same place spread out over 5 weeks. Including a few hours yesterday. A few items are from last season but the same zone though(2 of the non precious metals, one rosie and the rosery set box). My equinox couldn't quite cut through this spot or I probably would have found it last year.

I would not define this as a hoard. The target concentration is most likely the result of evident man made features that created a collection zone. And a lot of religious and dining activities up stream. Everything has been in the same strip with most items inside a 6 foot diameter circle. It's targets on top of targets and a lot of iron blobs masking smaller targets. Boarder line undetectable. One of my holes had two copper memorials, a fork, a copper switch plate cover and a 1947 rosey in it. I have a method but it's not fast.

Coins are:
*Two nice (from the shore line ) wheats 1914 and 1938
*A crusty buffalo
*various crusty wheatys, memorials and a few clad dimes
*a few Jefferson nickels
*what I think is a melted war nickel. No sign of reeded edge and the density is correct for that unique allow
* a fire damaged silver dime likely a mercury or rosey
*a hammered on silver rosey
*1964,1954 and 1934 Washington
*a worn 1917 mercury dime
*2 x 1946, 1947, 1953, 1961 and 2x1964 rosey dimes

Other silver items
* ring missing stones
*tiny miraculous metal
*a semi melted miraculous metal
*a Christ and child metal
*a rust stained silver chain(itwas stuck to a big glob of iron)

Interesting relics
*a surprise piece of worked jasper that definitely predates anything else here
*Hotel Pennsylvania New York tag
*Campbell's soup kid spoon
* mystery copper plate with some designs on it
*Holly Name Society lapel pin. It's abbreviated HNS in center of pin in first photo. Some enamel hanging on still. Non dug example posted.
*no idea what brass items in very bottom of second photo are but they are fancy.

This is definitely the most underwater silver coins I've dug in one place.

That's a wonderful variety of goodies! Well done! I really like that Campbell's soup spoon!
Thank you. It's a lot of work. I'm sure there's more in there but I have to rearrange a few larger rocks 🪨 and move a chunk of old concrete around to continue.

Wow ... congrats on all the great finds ! :icon_thumright:
Proof once again that hard work can really pay off !
Yes. Persistence, patience and a bunch of 9 volt batteries 🔋 lol.

That's a very interesting spot you've discovered, congrats!
Thank you. It is. Found that spur trigger pistol frame I recently posted in this body of water. Silver spoon bowl and marble came out Sunday in a different section. This nice 1780s colonial silver spoon handle made in Philadelphia was in the bank here and the newer circle broach. Rough on your body here though.
