Large copper

I'm pretty sure toasty large coppers are the most common post on this site at this point, but here is one more. Found by a friend in Northern NJ. It appears to have a long haired bust facing right with some legible writing to the left. I can make out a V and not much else. There also seems to be some writing under the bust. It's about half dollar sized. The back is pretty much toasted. What do you all think?

For what it's worth, I suspect it is George III, but I'm not sure.

Looks as if the lettering on the left side could be V E R M O N .
If so, then try comparing it to the Vermont copper "Bust Right"

Turn Right 1/4
I think I see a Large shield there


And Maybe LIB Just above it

I'm not sure [compare to 1887 VERMONT Bust right]

That seems to be it, that would explain why it looks similar to a George III
