Large cents, buttons and blowholes...silvers, IHC, crotal bell....

So I've had a few real short hunts, and no time to clean. So here they are all at once.

Had some great variety of button finds, and a slew of broken pewter utensils.





Large cents:

A few in-situs




All cleaned up...

1822, 1802, 1834

A beautiful blowhole







Some iron, including a hand wrought (grubbing?) hoe.





Modern silver and Indian cents



The crotal bells were both tombac, but were just pieces like all the other tombac bells I've found.

Here's the whole ensemble including an roached but copper (see it?)




In total it was approx. 6 hours of combined hunts. Lots of bits and pieces, and a bunch of fun. I even got to see my fellow Basstards of Bramble for a couple hours.

That blowhole button is French and Indian War period, although they were used later, till then were lost.
