This one is in the best shape that I've found so far. Just dry brushed it no water or anything that's what it looks like out of the ground.

my son just dug one to night his is a 1802 his face is facing to the right and the back says one cent united states of America 1 100 on bottom and a stamp on the women's face that we don't know why it is there looks like a shield with 6 dots or stars .But great finds i hope you have a lot more luck and find a ton more.

I've found that that is one of the best cleaning methods, depending on soil type. Dry brush or toothpick then rub lightly with fingers over the high points in the design. Great find, and good cleaning method. Congrats!
