Went out on the lake at the back of my property to give it
a hunt while its low and not frozen :icon_thumleft:

This weather is crazy.. :dontknow:

Got what i think is a Hibernia halfpenny 1760 but i am note sure :icon_scratch:

Im more of a relic guy but im sure Iron Patch could chime in on this one

Some lures and lots of clad :-\
Pulltabs and such i usually hunt colonial cellars so digging this is kinda weird to me :D

I also know what the expression busy as a Beaver means now :laughing9:

Keep the passion high

cool spot the lakes here are partially melted here too but still have ground frost and snow, i still make finds without my detector tho i just saved an antique wooden red and white fishing lure from a ditch a few weeks back. older than the ones you got probably from the 1940s-70s. those beavers can really be busy when they want to, i was lucky to be invited to go paddle boarding with a relative on a private little lake this summer and when we were out there, a beaver appeared 10 feet away from us and splashed us with it's tail. in that area there are few massive beaver dams i might be exaggerating a bit but one about 30 ft long and reaching 6 feet out of the water.
