Nice finds Leebo

Is it okay to ask what machine you were using, and tell how you found the chain. Like how deep in the sand or mud was it ..

I always think I am missing chains .. would like to hear your thoughts on finding that one.

I was using a Tesoro Tiger Shark in about 4 foot of water. The chain gave a broken signal (borderline iron). Not sure how deep in the ground the chain was. I was using a large scoop and probably scooped up at least 4 inches of sand when I scooped it up.

Do you use any discrimination?

thanks for the information

I think I had the discrimination turned all the way down. When I do turn it up I run it at about 2 on the Tiger Shark.

Lee,

very nice finds.

I did a lot of camping many, many years ago.
Like to get back to it, someday.

have a good un.............

Nice looking gold.

I know of some old swim holes were I have found old coins. But I never went into the water.

I know there is stuff in the bottom of those old pockets.
