Went out Friday night for two hours to my favorite park and got a 1946 Washington. Went to the same location on Sunday for three hours and found silver cufflink from Yellowstone Park. Not sure how old it is but it was 7 inches deep. Both the cufflink and the post are marked sterling. Also found a 1887 IH and a Goetz payphone token that is a design that I have not seen before. On Monday Clad the Impaler and I went to a near south side park that some of us went to earlier in the summer. Found a 1907 IH and a 1933 World’s Fair medallion marked “Chicago World’s Fair/ Italian Day August 3, 1933” On the front is a depiction of the Christopher Columbus statute that stands in Grant Park and was dedicated on this day. On the back is an image of the his ship the Santa Maria. Below is also a picture of the statute. Also found a total of 27 wheaties in the three hunts.

ANYTHING related to the Chicago World's Fair is just awesome in my book

Everything else is just icing on the cake

Wonderful hunt!

Nice stuff! I love those COP/World's Fair items. Coinage is awesome!

I wonder why there were so many Goetz designs? Did they represent different values? Seems you could cut a plug any number of ways if you wanted to use a phone back then.
