Kodol Nerve Tonic

Bottle is green with E.C. Dewitt & Co. Kodol Nerve Tonic Chicago embossed on the bottom. Can anybody help with anymore information on the bottle possibly?

So he was really a bootlegger, disquising his whisky concoction as a snake oil! I found this buried in old dump next to a creek behind my house tonight. Took the kids for a four wheeler ride. While they looked for frogs, dad looked for bottles.
