Know of any good hunting spots in central Texas?

I live in Round Rock TX and the most I've hunted here are local parks. Considering my area is pretty new, I'm itching to hit some older towns/locations within driving distance. Preferably under 3 hours of driving. My main focus is coin shooting, but relics are great as well. Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks!

Dirt fishing is somewhat like real fishing, no one volunteers their honey holes or leads on good sites. Part of the enjoyment I find in this hobby is the research, studying old maps and reading local history. Good luck and don't be afraid to knock on some doors.
