Knitting circles

Don't laugh. I have arthritis in my hands and sometimes knit to keep the hands limber. I make ugly scarves. I call them scarves because they always come out longer one way or the other.

Ahh the Spart Mantra! have you been away also Buddy? People may think we are related!

Push three, pull four,
Without these posts, I'ld be bored.

Griz, have you tried golden raisins soaked in gin and then the alcohol allowed to evaporate?

It is for inflammation. I use it and everyone I have told who tried it worked for them. My mom used it till shortly before her death. She had terrible arthritis in her hands and the pain stopped after trying it.

If your interested let me know....

Okay. Never heard of that. I will look into it. Thanks. Right now I just use Aleve, one in the morning and one at night. It helps. The knitting is not about the pain, it is about keeping fingers more nimble. It is like when I sit in a restaurant for a while and stand up, my knees get tight. I walk out looking like I am learning to walk again

But, we digress. This is about knitting dittys to pass the boredom.

Google golden raisins, gin and inflammation....

It's the juniper berry's that dies the trick.

Correct, I have been using this for couple years now and works great, my mom used it the last 5 years of her life and whe went from constant pain in her hands to no pain after 2 weeks of taking it every day. I have told several friends about it and all reported it worked for them as well...

If it involves experimenting with alcohol I'm all for it. Can't we just drink the booze instead of letting it evaporate? Of course that would effect the quality of the knitting.

If you ever saw something I knitted you would know all the booze in the world would not make it any worse!

Nope trying to help griz so he can knit faster.....

Well then, try and keep it in topic verse form like so.

Google golden raisins, gin and inflammation....
eat em, drink em, lose the pain sensation...

See how simple :laughing7:

Oh, and all along I thought the title was "knitting circles"..... Sorry

Check the active topics till you see Spart's post,

open and read, he makes me laugh the most.

Sometimes funny, sometimes straight,

When i see his name I always take the bait.

He could be smart, like Thomas Edison,

either way, laughter's the best medicine.:occasion14:

So Gold, let me ask... Who wrote that clever ditty for you :laughing7:

That was really clever, in touch and I feel honored.. Thank you :headbang:
