Not sure what I have here but I think it looks like a Knights Templar cross or at a version of one that come up on the google. Anyone know for sure? Thanks for the help

Not a Templar cross, I don't think. In the image below, a Templar cross is the cross patée, and you have what appears to be a cross botonée/bottony. You can see examples in the Maryland flag. Also know as the cross of Lazarus or a cross trefly. They are used in heraldry (coats of arms) - see the Flannery Clan for an example.
