Sorta like a Lodge Hall for Freemasons...

In Nebraska City in 1855 I believe the organizations met in the same building owned by S.F. Nuckolls and then later on when the K.G.C. was considered to be a treasonous organization, they met way outside of town at Logan Enyart's farm in an underground tunnel with a room. This tunnel also allowed anyone that was at Logan's house like his good friend and brother Jesse W. James and his gang, to escape from the house to Logan's barn underground and they could leave up the creek on horseback without being seen.

The first lodge of the I. O. O. F. in Nebraska, was Nebraska Lodge No. 1, at Nebraska City, instituted May 29, 1855. This was followed by



Grand Lodge of Nebraska, I. O. O. F., was organized at the hall of the I. O. O. F. in Nebraska City, April 27, 1858, by members from Nebraska Lodge No. 1, of Nebraska City; Omaha Lodge No. 2, of Omaha;etc.
