Knight and Shield

Found this metal object that has a shield with knights head.
It measures 4" X 3 1/2".
It looks like it might be brass and maybe silver plated.
I thought it was an ash tray at first but after cleaning it I saw that it wasn't.
The back has "made in USA" and what looks like "lauld", but I'm not sure. The letters are very small.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Yea sassydiggs maybe I'll find the rest of the Dodge with a trunk full of money !!!!

Reminds me of a 66 Pontiac LeMans I bought as a used car. The trunk was full of rolled silver quarters. They were falling out of a hole in trunk. Im driving around hearing all this noise sounding like nuts and bolts falling off of my car lol. Several days went by before I found the rotted paper rolls of silver quarters packed down in the wheel wells. I bet if I go back and search the side of the road some of those quarters may still be there. No telling how many fell out. Sorry to get off subject.
