Went fishing again, couldnt get any pics of the fish they were too squrimy for me and I was alone in a boat lol! But while I was taking a break on shore I found a couple of broken "worked" peices... Same place I found my other obsidian tip. It looks kind of like a knife tip, let me know if any of you think otherwise...:icon_scratch: P1000781.JPGP1000774.JPGP1000772.JPGP1000777.JPGP1000778.JPGPlus another nice obsidian tip...wish it was whole! :'( Wonder if I might find a whole peice here sometime?

Nice... that could have been a large point or a knife. the angle of the sides looks more like a point to me.I love fishing too but I think its time you left the fishing gear at home. there is sure to be whole ones around there. it's probably not true everywhere but where I am it usually turns out that where you find the tips we're hunting areas where you find the bases we're camping areas. I suppose that's because the bases were brought back 4 re working when they could be found. maybe try looking for some high ground in the area. or the first bend in the stream down from it. just a thought.

Id be a happy dirt fisher if I found me a whole piece! Tho, its hard not to take my fly rod with me here, I finnaly got a pic of a nice cutthroat I caught from shore, look how beefy this hog is!

What a heartbreaker! You have a good eye in finding them. Good Luck Hunting and Fishing!
