Found this today on an old cabin site, not sure when it was built but I think it was gone by the 40’s or 50’s
I’m going to poke around the internet myself but maybe Walter or Webster? And then the stamp 648. I want to say fishing/ fillet knife but the butt seems beefy for that, guessing the wood rotted out from either side of the … plastic? Bakelite? … maybe someone here will know what it is

Still trying to get an age, seems post 1950, I saw a reference to scout knives and I had a family member that would bring scouts down to camp in the area so maybe that’s where it came from.
