I use a pair I bought at Harbor Freight over a year ago. Best thing I ever did! These don't give me any issues where the straps run across the back of my legs.

I only use one on my r knee while I’m hunting….
If I get on two knees I might not make it back up
This way they last twice as long also:icon_thumleft:

I used to use them and they helped. My knees have gotten to the point I really can't kneel anymore so I had to switch to garden shovel so I can dig standing up. Ah, the fun of getting older.

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well Nathan and to the rest of my T-net friends as well.

I do one knee but I can't dig if I kneel down on my other knee, must be a left handed thing

I use my shovels large ring handle to help me push back up to standing

I was thinking about some knee pads, I've kneeled down on rocks and other objects I didn't even know was there. My right knee has been hurting from getting up and down. Anyone use them and do they run the back of your legs raw even with pants? Happy thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving, Nathan! One thing I'm grateful for today is you asking this question!! I was perusing the internet the last two days looking at knee pads. And I'm thankful for all the replies you are getting. LOL Just got an Ames toothed short spade to cut down on the kneeling as well. Getting old is not for sissies.

I wear them as well. Keeps my knees protected from rocks, glass, prickers as well as extra padding so I'm not as sore.

I bought a pair for landscaping work and I use one for my left knee when metal detecting. It makes kneeling much more comfortable.
