Kiss of Death on Today's Hunt

Hit another Vegas park today and the very first target two steps into the park was the little 925 butterfly pendant. Uh oh, I thought, kiss of death? Indeed. I hunted all day to end up with $1.60 in spendable clad (I don't think that quarter is going to make it through the machine), a funky skeleton key, a doggy tag, a ss crab fork and some random hardware.

Tough hunt although easy on the back, and silver #120 FTY so, no complaints here.

Thanks Bill! Yeah, much nicer here. I looked at the security cameras at home in Reno and there's about a foot of snow on the patio furniture! I think I'm gonna like this snow-bird thing.

I agree. Although the kiss of death doesn't seem to apply to some detectorists here, with their multiple great finds, for me as in fishing, a great find or catch right away more often than not, is the last good find or catch. Not always true though, so we keep at it.

Yeap, we shout out kiss of death but secretly hope it will turn into one of those rare crazy days with multiple rare silver coins. Thats detecting for you....
