Another day, taking my time and had to think pretty hard about going detecting. I'm glad that I decided to go!
An hour and a half hunt made my day. This farm seems to keep on giving! I found a flat button and a brass tac. I've found a couple of these tac. They seem to possibly belong to a piece of furniture?

I also found these scissors. And realized that a piece I had previously found seemed like a possible piece of a second pair.

Another neat find was this bullet. Not sure if it's old or not but it has the patina of old lead. I also weighed it in at .26 oz

My favorite find was this KGII REX coin! Just another new coin to add to my collection! This site is amazing! I can't get the date but I do see Britannia sitting there on her throne!

The rest of my finds

I had also taken a second look at one other coin where I can see a right facing bust and I believe Britannia on the back. Any help on this coin? It isn't completely wiped but it is hard to see detail.

Cheers!!

Congratulations on your very nice recoveries back at the farm

Can't help on the very worn items but the George II halfpenny is 'young bust', so it's from between 1729-1739

Awesome finds!!!! Congrats!!!

Always good to see the King!

Thank you, Elvis! Much appreciated!

Wow thats old nice find
Thanks islam! If it is dated between 1729-1739, that makes the coin my oldest so far!:icon_thumright:

Always! haha I have a short video of when I first pinged it. Ringing solid 82 on my AT Pro. Not even 4 inches down! :notworthy: The King definitely blessed me with a visit today

Nice strong profile of KGII. Congrats!

Hunter MF,

Very nice finds. I really enjoyed reading your write up along with the pictures - the KG II looks great. Good luck with hunts. Walt

Hey Walt, I appreciate it!

great site and great finds, thanks for posting

Right facing bust and Brittania would mean King George III halfpenny in my area where they are common.

I was thinking the same thing, but I don't know if Brittania is on the back of the "What is it" coin. I just see a right facing bust which I've done some research and it could be something else. (Possibly)
