Killer windmills

What strikes me funny is that eagles are noted for their eyesight, and yet they can't see those gigantic windmills.

Howdy Don,

It won't be this winter, but I do have the Grand Canyon on my list. I will make it a point to go to Lake Mary.

I don't get out of the brush that much, I live in the Wild Horse Desert of South Texas. What strikes me funny is that eagles are noted for their eyesight, and yet they can't see those gigantic windmills.

I can tell you I have nearly hit a couple with my truck, When times are tough or sometimes just lazy, they turn into vultures, in the middle of the road!

Evidentally the bats in Vt. are having problems with their sonar in detecting the moving 15 ft long turbine blades, and it's the same environmental people who want us to break away from fossil fuels.....when the politicians listen and do that, the same people sue them because of damage to the trees and wildlife
