Just kidding of course, but I did find a screamer Paleo point today in SE Nebraska! I am thinking Hell Gap. Base and bottom 1/3 is ground smooth as silk. Am I correct on the type?

It could have been made that way, but of the many Hell Gap examples (photos and literature) I have seen (if it is indeed a Hell Gap) have a stem that Is obviously longer than yours in ratio to the blade.

As Joshuaream mentioned, that stem appears to have been restored (maybe) from an ancient break. You can see a row of angled pressure flaks along that one side.

BTW: There should be obvious grinding around the Hafting Area.
