key

First thought this key was broken but now I'm not so sure when I look at the straightness of the angle on the end. Design looks somewhat old - my guess is early 1900's but can't find anything online to ID. Key says "Made in USA" then "STAR" and "EA5" (I think).
Any ideas on age?

looks like a short lock cylinder key blank, my guess would be a 1910-1920's padlock key blank, maybe a front facing key way possibly a bottom key way

Would STAR brand key be consistent with 1910-1920?
