I have more then 1 property in ky. 1 is a big lot full of surprises still coming out the ground. My favorites so far still came off the surface where we tore down all the old buildings.

I have a place rich in history. With surface finds just got into detecting looking for others in the area to share the detecting/prospecting hobbies with. I can share info and history of the area in person. And the old timer stories I was told. New to group

And an fyi there’s stuff people don’t want you to know about some of ky land. Just so happens I figured some out and it made some others involved “skip town” when they had a lot going on for them here in ky. I’m too hard headed to be worried or ran off. But I sure do have some stories and encounters to tell that’s hard to believe but nothing but the truth. Some what has happened since I was a teen up to last year. Not including the old timer stories. Stumble on something hid and watch how ur surrounding environment changes. Obvious that some stuff you find isn’t lost. Keep hunting you might just dig up a secret or 2 if your here in ky.

soo are you looking for gold? you did mention pans and your name says it all lol. so are you after natural placer or hard rock gold? I dont know anything about KY or what kind of gold deposits may be there. Is there gold that can be found panning or anything detectable? Im in a historically Gold rich area of Northern Ca. Miner Josh. I’ve found it in ky where they say it’s not. Not deep and not hard to get. Actually coming out a hillside. And after couple years came to find out others have to and in multiple county’s. With similar story’s to tell about it.
