keith wills from east texas metal detectors

That’s really cool! Keith Wills sounds like a gem of a guy—it's rare to find someone with that level of expertise and willingness to help out. It must be awesome having someone like him you can rely on, especially for those vintage machines. There’s nothing better than getting them back in working order after a repair! Having someone who knows the ins and outs of these detectors can make all the difference. Glad he was able to help you out again!
FYI, the post you quoted is over 3 years old.

Final Report:

I sent a detector to Mr. Keith Wills for repair in early January 2022 via UPS. It's now mid December 2024. I hear that his website is down, and he is in the process of selling his business...

If you received your unit back in a repaired state and for a fair price, I'm proud for you.

I really want to call Mr. Wills out for what he is as a human being; however, I'm writing this episode off as one of those many life lessons learned.

I did get my unit back after over two years not working because the control board ruined because of his bad soldering and him charging me over $195.00. I wish I had never heard of East Texas Metal Detectors. I was more determined that he was not going to rip me off by taking my machine and my money.
