Wow. A Lima Star and your book for $199. You must be the most generous or dumbest man on the planet.

Please read the posting more closely.
There are pictures of thousands of coins in the photographs.
The coins being offered with the cert and book are worn specimens
that have been tumbling around in the surf zone for 350 years or so.

Years ago I asked Freeman Craig a well known numismatist,
"What do we call these?" It was he who coined the phrase.
"Genuine Specimen Ravaged by both Time and the Sea"

Kinda has a ring to it, like genuine silver should.
What I can tell you is these coins are not quite razor blades.

Some of them still have partial strikes.... Some are better than others.
Nobody is remotely suggesting the coins being offered are Lima stars
But the Jupiter Shipwreck does have them and one was recently
sold at a Sedwick Coin Auction for over $22,000.00! And it was reported
as a beach find!

With silver currently pushing $18. to $19. dollars an ounce a document
genuine artifact with a pedigree and a nice autographed book at under
$200.00 is well within and beneath market prices set by others
like Treasure Salvors. Take a look for your self at the prices of their
grade four and grade five specimens.

Capt. Dom, I just looked at it on e-bay, Looks cool but you may need to revise alittle. "Treasure Diving with Capt Dom w/ Genuine Piece of Eight
Autographed by both the Author and Capt Com & a Coin!"
CAPT. COM? :laughing7: It's OK though It takes me a half hour to type a sentence.
As for discovery, We've had beautiful weather all week, except Tstorms in the PM. But this morning when I finally get out on the water, The wind changed direction and came in from the SW. Bringing AM storms. :BangHead: After fighting swells that tried to swallow my boat, And wind that tried to turn the metal detector into a kite I had to call it a day. :BangHead: In other words my day of discovery really sucked today.
But my dream is still alive! :occasion14: And I got to spend some time with an old friend I have not seen in a while.

"Genuine Specimen Ravaged by both Time and the Sea"
Sounds more like a bunch of us old treasure hunters. :laughing7:

Good thing I did't make the o a "U" huh....
Thank you for pointing out the type 0

I've spent the better part of the morning trying to
explain to some folks we are not selling Lima Stars for $200.00

The book is an easy to read - good read and there are a lot of great photos.

Thanks for your interest.
