Just some Florida fossil hunting photos

Not that particular portion very often find quite a few of the body skutes usually broken
 

That's what I'm thinking unless someone comes around to explain why that's not the case

Are you talking about South Hutchinson Island?
Holy moly that thing's huge.. I imagine it would be part of a femur from a mastodon probably... Maybe a tibia
I'm thinking probably one half of the lower section of the bone where the joint would be

You can see what i think is the socket on the middle photo. I first thought it might be a vertebrae from a whale. Its about 8" x 11"
 

I'm also going to post some pics which is either shell, bone or pottery. If you could look at it and comment on it that would be great
