Just recieved my Ace 250 today- couple questions on the coils

I got the stock coil, the sniper coil, and the 9"X12" coil.

I was just wondering how people do with the 9x12 coil as opposed to the stock coil?

Haven't been able to try it out yet due to rain.

the 9x12 will go deeper and cover a lot more ground, the sniper is great for trashy spots

Learn to use the detector with the stock coil first. If you switch coils, your just going to have problems. Once you know what the machine is telling you, then you can start using the other coils. I only use the large coil most of the time. It's really great. I use the sniper in really trashy areas.
