Just post something...

If you can compile me a list of Paterson bottles, jugs etc. I'll keep my eye out. I have seen two jugs, and three bottles from Paterson over the years.
With so many bottles and jugs from Paterson the best I can do is post a link to the sodas and beers page and the stoneware page for Paterson on the NJ Bottle Forum, 98% of what's visible there belongs to me... If you can't view the page you can always request to join, the site is free, there are no ads, and it's full of info on everything NJ.

Bottles... Paterson

Stoneware... Paterson

Her are two from the opposite ends of my digging history. The one on the left was one the of the first digs I did . I was a total greenhorn .It got me a bad case of poison ivy and some decent bottles . Now I realize it was a cellar hole .And when the tree roots got bad I quit .Bad idea but I was a rookie .The one on the right I found last year .That is more than 35 yeas of rooting in dumps .It was in a spot I have had very limited luck before .It is the best find from that location . Just have not bee able to spend much time yet this summerView attachment 001.jpg

Nice pair of milks. I rarely find embossed ones.

I hae been after an amber E.J. Kenrick soda bottle for years now, and I finally found one. I noticed it had a lip chip on it, but I started towards the counter. However, I had been looking for a Warners bottle for just as long, and after a bit of haggling, I got it for $20. Not a bad day!

Congratulations on the Warner's Safe. I've always wanted one of those.

What I thought was a Civil War ale bottle, turns out to be a British 1870's / 1880's ale bottle. Eh, cool black glass though.

I've got one of those ales that I found in an attic. It's almost identical to yours. Still has some of the foil seal around the top. Really hard to say for sure if they were blown in England or America, but I have to reluctantly lean towards England, too.

Here's another to keep it rolling, embossed "Swaim's / Panacea / Philada".

Here is a decent Pepper Sauce from CT Hughes out of Cincinnati Circa 1849-1850ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1565301825.372840.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1565301841.478662.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1565301851.687752.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1565301860.803610.jpg

I liked it so much when I dug it and just can’t let it go!!! Jgas

That's a little more than "decent" and for you to have dug it makes it even better. Cincinnati sure produced some great bottles. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Thanks guys. It is pretty darn cool. One of only two known. The other was an iron pontil with a different lip treatment. I think it went for $900 something. Crazy. Thanks for the accolades. Jgas.

I was sick yesterday, so I couldn't go with my mom to a place we normally don't go to in West Virginia. She made it to an antique shop, and sent me a picture of blob tops, a bunch of meds that looked pontiled, and a very rare Huntington West Virginia straight sided coke. The price tag only read $27. THAT'S A KILLER DEAL! why wasn't there!? WHYYYYYYYYY!!

That's a bummer. I hope you're feeling better today, man. Do you know anybody over that way who might pick them up for you?

Here's a Bininger square to hopefully brighten everybody's day.

No, but Tuesday may be a good time to go. But knowing my mom...

I am feelin' better now.

Is that the Binigers Old Kentuckey Bourbon? My dad dug one of those in a New York civil war camp.
