Actually found this last night but didn't have time to post it..It was back up at our community center/pool area I've been huntin'.This old "clip on" was down at least 6",relic mode read a bullet(thank's Nana)Hadn't had time to do a full cleaning yet but will keep you posted,but at 6'' it sure did shine up pretty good from just some water...Gotta cut grass right now and gonna hit it again this evening...Thank's for looking...Oh yea,and quite possibly the oldest pull tab in the world ;) ....HH!!

Nice find, Civ! They made em strong way back when....I've yet to find an intact modern earring.

Over the last few weeks, I've found three or four pulltabs exactly like the one you posted. I figured maybe late 1950's/early 1960's?? Either way, its silver era and pretty encouraging. Keep posting the finds from your new spot!

honestly folks old pull tabs ---zip type and old pull ring types are telling you ve hit a 1950-1964 era zone ---as in silver coins (maybe) here zone---- beer drinking makes folks tend to be careless and what better way to lose coins then fumbling round in your pocket for some cash to send some to get "more" beer while sitting on the creek side at night catfishing with your buddies---or wrassling round on a blanket with your high school "sweet heart" after a few cold ones? bet some of ya'll might have even lost a coin or two that way;D Ivan
