Finaly::happysmiley:got the t2.I did a lot of research and it just made sense .I wanted something to compliment the etrac and atpro.Threw a quarter on the ground, put it in discrim and senc at 70 and got pretty high up I like what I see so far.I no ground bal important for this unit.so taking it out tomorrow can't wait. Thanks Keith from fort Bedford .He's a nice guy and got me a great price and also very punctual. I look forward doing more business in the future. Thanks again.:

Congrats dandut! I got mine a year ago and could not be happier with the results. I've found tons of colonial coins and relics this first year and I believe the T2 is one of the best machines out there. If you get bored I posted some of my favorite finds from this first year in best finds. I have to tell you that this was my first ever machine and it really took me about 3 months to feel like I was locked in with it and could handle and conditions including trashy sites. I recommend that you read the manual at least twice. And read it every six months or so just as a refresher. I also made up a test garden which has been a big help. Best of luck and don't ever hesitate to ask questions. Lots of knowledgeable people on here. Can't wait to see your finds, Abe

Don't try to run it too hot at first. That was my biggest mistake when I first got mine. If you have a test garden you will find that backing it down a bit isn't as detrimental to the depth as you would think The small coil really rocks as well. Amazing depth for such a small coil and definitely cuts through the trash. The most ergonomic machine I have ever used as well. Beau Ouimette had a good video on using a sling or harness with the T2. I kind of took his idea and made mine a bit different but really like not having to set the detector down. I couldn't imagine a machine that would suite my style of hunting any better. I would be more than happy to help if you need any advice as well. Abe sure rocks his up in Maine. HH

Thanks .I never seen Beau ouimette on the sling thing, but watch every other video he made, he has one on manual GB as he goes over a deep bullet, pretty cool.I will take it slow to learn it before I run it hot.I'm taking it out in the woods tomorrow, which is were I'll use it 90 % of the time.thanks for the info.

Just got back took it to a hammers out cellar hole, got ten buttons and I mean this place been hit hard.I ran it in am, but my head phones were on the fritz, so I had to run it with out.You need head phones in am.I did hit hot rocks , but they wouldn't show any I'd and if you kept going over them it would hit in quarter range then go away. Then I put it in discrim ,senc at 85, disc at 4 and tone 2+ it was hiting targets at 8 inch regularly. Then at the end of the day I put the 5inch coil and went around the hole and hit to more buttons.I love this thing it is the balls .I can just glide threw the woods with ease. It is exactly what I wanted, couldn't be happier. Just one question is it made just for teknetics head phones or can you use any.when I got home I plugged another set in and one side is louder then the other.I do have adapter, just wondering. Thanks

Sounds like you two are getting along great! I use the killer B headphones and love em. I've also used the Grey Ghosts

My joy was short lived. Yesterday couldn't use head phones and it kept changing modes which I thought I was hitting the button.Today I can't switch modes or change sence or anything else what the ####!

Actually sounds like a bad switch. I know how bad it sucks to send a brand new detector back, but it does happen. I had to send my G2 back and was well pleased with the turn around time. They made several upgrades (it was a couple of years old) to the connectors and fixed the issue for me. I think Abe sent his back as well. I would call them first and make sure that it needs to go, but sure sounds like it. I have had mine for close to three years and sure put it through the paces the first couple. No issues but will admit the mode button and switch acted a little hinky at first but after that never had issues. I do leave mine in the sensitivity setting as it is pretty easy to bump the knob and it has the least effect if you do. Hope you are back up and running soon. HH

All I hear from one T2 user is how deep he has to dig lol. Its a gold magnet, you should pay for your investment soon.

Great start dandut! That's nothing to sneeze at. I knew when I pulled an LC at about 12" from a snow covered field that I had the right machine. No vdi but a beautiful repeatable signal. I put the 5" coil on this weekend and snatched out an 1801 DB. The 5" coil is incredible. Sometimes I forget how good it is and hesitate to out it on. When I do I don't want to take that sucker off

I do like the 5 "coil and I'm going to use it this weekend I think I found a virgin cellar hole. I found it late in the day sunday , so I dropped the coil and hit a buckle , then a horse buckle , but it started getting dark so I had to go.Its a real cool place and looks promising can't wait.congrats on your finds and thanks for replyies.

Cellars are great places to find goodies! Good luck!
