Got my angus at cabelas they were all 100 bucks for some reason . So I got the biggest one. Awesome. Cant wait to use it. Im going to compare my miners moss mini sluice to this new angus. Cant wait for the easy cleanouts. And no hardware. Everyone seems to really lile the angus. I got the expedition

Wow cool! I recently got a Mini Long Tom and tested it with an inch drop per foot, it caught everything I put in it! How often are you planning on cleaning it out? I was thinking about every bucket or two I put through it.

Yeah thats the thing I've never used it. Jist figuring trials .depends on the material.I usually run a muddy clay.

Pribanly two buckets to be safe. Since its so easy it won't be more thenca minute to clean

With the angus does the end need to be out of the water like a traditional sluice? Or whole sluice underwater. Because I know with regular sluices need to be out of the water to function right

Set it up just like any other sluice...but it is pretty tolerant of variations in water depth, etc.

Even Tom Massie sometimes sets up his sluice with the lower end under wateron the show tho!

The angus rules. Out performed my miners moss. sluice. Couldn't run as much as the carpet. But clean out and back In the water was like less then one minute. Had it setup a little wrong ar first and had black sand piles all the way down to the third from last riffle. Not sure if that's normal. But fine gold was no match for the angus

I have seen that black sand overwhelm happen to a friend who also has an AM Expedition. Did you find a lot of gold mixed with all that black sand? A little more water speed thru the sluice will sort it out. However, like you said, a clean out is so quick you can just do that and keep running!

Yeah I found at least 700 flakes And some more powder. Its a really flakey gold. You can see the video of my spot. its boring its my first video ive ever made. pretty bad. But I will show a vid of panning the cons. Since I cant upload pics on mobile version

,awesome spot. I would say run it as you had it setup and just do more clean outs. Then drag that black sand home to work all those gold pieces out!!!!
